Baku Tour Overview

zerbaijan is a country located in the South Caucasus region of Eurasia. It is bordered by Russia to the north, Georgia to the northwest, Armenia to the west and southwest, Iran to the south, and the Caspian Sea to the east.

The capital city of Azerbaijan is Baku, which is also the largest city in the country. Azerbaijani is the official language, and the majority of the population practices Islam. Azerbaijan's economy is broad, comprising sectors like agriculture, manufacturing, and oil and gas.

Azerbaijan has a rich cultural heritage, and its traditional music, dance, and art have been recognized by UNESCO as part of the world's intangible cultural heritage. The country has many historical sites, including the walled old city of Baku, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Azerbaijan is also known for its natural beauty, including the Caucasus Mountains and the Caspian Sea.

Baku Tour Itinerary

Day 1
You will be welcomed by our representative by holding a “NAME CARD” in front of the exit at the GYD Airport. After landing You will be taken to the Hotel for accommodation with our transport service and representative. The rest is free day.
Day 2
Visiting foreign country will not be filled until shopping is done. Taking some souvenirs, clothes and other things are the things remind of the country we visit. To correspond these, we will take you bazaars, malls, local market for your shopping. Main areas will be covered in this tour are Deniz Mall, 28 May Mall, Genclik Mall.
Day 3
After breakfast at the hotel the tour starts with visiting to baku boulevard. The park stretches along a south-facing bay on the Caspian Sea. It traditionally starts at Freedom Square continuing west to the Old City and beyond. Since 2012, the Yeni Bulvar (new boulevard) has virtually doubled the length to 3.75 km, extending the promenades to National Flag Square.
Our tour program continues with Old City or Inner City is the historical core of Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. The Old City is the most ancient part of Baku, which is surrounded by walls were well protected. In 2007, the Old City had a population ofabout 3000 people. In December 2000, the Old City of Baku, including the Palace of the Shirvanshahs and Maiden Tower, became the first location in Azerbaijan to be classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO (walking tour no entry).
Later group will experience the happening street of Nizami Street known for shopping. The street's history could be traced back to Baku's town-planning project of 1864. The street runs through the city's downtown from west to east. It begins from Abdulla Shaig Street, in mountainous part of the city and ends at railroad bed on Sabit Orujov Street, near a monument to Shah Ismail Khatai in “Black City”.
Day 4
After having breakfast at the hotel, the tour will start. Then Fire Mountain will be the next destiny. It is a natural gas fire that blazes continuously on a hillside on the Absheron Peninsula on the Caspian Sea near Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan (a country which itself is known as """"the Land of Fire""""). Flames jet into the air 3 meters (9.8 ft) from a thin, porous sandstone layer.
The last Destination will be Heydar Aliyev Center . This unique building was designed by Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid and noted for its distinctive architecture and flowing, curved style that eschews sharp angles.
Gobustan State Historical and Cultural Reserve is located west of the settlement of Gobustan, about 40 miles (64 km) southwest of the center of Baku. it is very rich in archeological monuments. Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape within the reserve, which covers an area of 537 ha, has more than 6,000 rock carvings, which depict people, animals, battle pieces, ritual dances, bullfights, boats with armed oarsmen, warriors with lances in their hands, camel caravans, pictures of sun and stars, on the average dating back to 5,000-20,000 years. 350 of the 700 volcanoes of the world are in the Azerbaijani Republic. To go to Mud Volcanoes will need Lada taxis to get there.
Day 5
